Trading Post® Mobile Terms and Conditions
1. General
By using this site to search or bid you accept these terms. The Trading Post® Buying and Selling Terms, Site Terms of Use and General Terms also apply to your use of this site.
Telstra and its related entities and contractors don't guarantee that this site is free of errors or viruses. This site and the information and links it contains, are provided 'as is', without express or implied warranty and you use them at your own risk. Telstra and its related entities and contractors take no responsibility for the content of any sites that link from this site.
To the extent permitted by law, Telstra and its related entities and contractors exclude all liability in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising from or in connection with this site.
When you buy an item using Trading Post® Mobile (either via an online Auction or Buy Now), you accept the payment and delivery options and sale terms offered by the seller.
You may contact the seller to request additional information or alternative payment or delivery options.
2. Rules for bidding at online Auctions
Placing bids
You can use Trading Post® Mobile to place a bid for an item listed for an online Auction at any time before the listing ends. Bidding on an item indicates your agreement to the terms of sale of that item described by the seller in the full listing for the item.
When you click on the "Confirm Bid" button you are committing to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller where you are the highest bidder at the end of an auction.
Withdrawing bids
Bids may be withdrawn only:
• by following the procedure set out in the Bidding Rules;
• within 1 hour of a bid being placed; and
• if you have accidentally typed in an incorrect bid amount (e.g. $55.00 instead of $5.50).
To withdraw a bid for any other reason, you must contact the seller and ask the seller to cancel the bid.
Disclosing reserves
Where a seller has included a reserve on their Auction, the reserve price is not visible to you. If a bid placed is under the reserve price, a message will display under the current bid stating the reserve has not been met. Sellers are under no obligation to reveal their reserve to buyers.
3. Buy Now
You can use Trading Post® Mobile to "commit to buy" an item listed for a Buy Now sale. When you click "Commit to Buy", you are committing to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase an item from the seller.
4. Privacy
